I learned a great understanding of women through this book.
It changed my whole outlook in both life and the battle of the Sexes.

Religious books do, but I'm looking for fictional books with a strong message or powerful feel to them that resonates and just makes you want to go out and change the world for the good.

The Kite runner by Khaled Hossieni sure left an impact on me. It's great and relates to Afganistan mostly, and is the story of Amir and his friend/servant Hassan. Its tragic, sad, suspenseful, horrifying and what not! Give it a read and you'll surely learn a lot!
