I'm looking for non-fiction books about the Vietnam War. What are some epic and notable books in your opinion?
Specifically, I'm looking for books that were firsthand accounts from soldiers themselves. Not just US soldiers but Viet Cong/NVA troops as well. Thanks.

What is the best book for first year teachers?

If you have a list of several great books for a first year teacher, that would be good. If you give several, please mark the one you most highly recommend.
My apologies people! I meant a great book with advice, tips, classroom management strategies, etc. all in one for first year teachers... sorry that the question was confusing and thank you for the lists and advice, but I have 5th grade this year. I don't think they are quite ready for most of those just yet, lol.
