Im writing a book about a zombie apocolypse and i was wondering, could books about zombies be as sucessful as books about vampires and werewolfs?

If it is well written and not cliched, then it will be a success! Max Brooks' book World War Z is really popular and being made into a movie (produced by Brad Pitt!). There's this one series by DJ Moody, from UK. He published it for free on his website (http://www.djmoody.co.uk). After some time, people started noticing that it was being downloaded a lot, so he got it published officially, and it was made into a movie.
Basically, if you have a good idea going, and someone good to represent you as a publisher, and you really want your book to be successful, it will happen!
Also, it's a generally popular topic. Even the TV show, The Walking Dead, is highly proclaimed and enjoyed by many. So, keep working on your book and good luck!!

Something that people wouldn't guess you enjoy? I love zombies. Love love love zombies. But other scary movies- I can't stand them. Its just zombies. I love zombie movies, zombie books, zombie plays, anything zombies. I'm currently reading World War Z by Max Brooks. I'm enjoying it so far. People are usually shocked if I mention anything about it. They have that stereotype of me. I'm almost always in a dress, I did dance for ten years, theater, I'm a huge girly girl.

I'm a classically trained ballerina, but I grew up hunting and I can skin an elk better than most men I know. People are usually quite surprised when they see miss sparkles and lace headed out to the bush at 4am wearing full camo and packing a .30-06.
