It's a very short chapter book (40-45 pages with lots of illustrations), but it's a fun story about secret codes, hidden clues and a fun mystery

My son isn't much into reading but I'd like to find a few chapter books for him to try. He really needs the comprehension practice. He's all about technology... Wanting to build things on computer games (games like Minecraft but especially Roblox) and he's always got some sort of screen on (computer, iPod, kindle). His favorite tv show types were House of Anubis, The Sparticle Project and some various cartoons. Any suggestions ate appreciated!!

The Magic Tree House series are wonderful books. My 8-yr old loves them, plus they have to read them in the class she is in. They are about a brother & sister going on magical adventures together with a special book that warps them back in time or something like that. I read part of one just to see what kind of books they were, I thought it was good, the chapters are short and my daughter can read two chapters a night for her 20min of reading 4 days a week and finish it all. There are about 8-10 chapters/book.
