Do you buy books, but then never read them?

I am always buying lots of books, but never seem to get around to reading them. I've brought 10 books in the past months, and haven't even started reading one of them! I just can't help but keep buying books though. Do you have this problem?

Answer
Yes, all the time. Usually for a reason. Like, this summer I was going out to the country with my boyfriend to visit his family, last time I went I was really bored, so the day before I made a quick stop and zellars I bought some books (like three or four, they were having a 2 for 7.50 sale) but the trip turned out to be a blast and I only read one of them. I had no real desire to read any of them, they seemed good based on the description, and since then there has been other books that I really wanted to read so the others got shelved and will remain so until the next time I need something to read. They'll never go to waste. Sometimes if there's a good sale I'll pick up a few and sometimes I heard a book was good and saw it while I was out and bought it even though I had no time to read it. But like I said, I'll read them all eventually I'm sure, but there's no rush.

Heyyy people! I never read.. any good ideas for books?

Hey everyone. I feel like having a book reading phase :p any good ideas? I probably read like 6 books in my whole life and I was forced to read like 4 of them. I'm a guy.. I guess I like spy, fantasy, comedy anything would do really. DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITEEE?

GRACIAS
Actually I think that avoiding to tell my age is better since I will get real opinions and books that people loved and not a book that would be suited for my age. I am 17, but I certainly love stuff that isn't in my age group either older more serious stuff or even younger fun immature stuff.

Thanks for all the answers ;p I drove to the library but they didn't have all of the titles.
merci les amis

Answer
You failed to note your age, so I'll limit the list to books appropriate for all reading ages.

Charles Dickens
.Great Expectations
.Oliver Twist
.Nicholas Nickelby
.David Copperfield
.The Old Curiosity Shop
.Little Dorrit
.A Tale of Two Cities

*-When starting A Tale of Two Cities, you'll find yourself getting stuck on the first chapter, as it seems to make no sense at all. Don't bother going back over it a second time, as it won't make any more sense. Just keep reading. All of what seems like gibberish in the first chapter makes perfect sense in the last few pages. Gotta love Dickens.

Sidney Sheldon
.Rage of Angels

Elie Wiesel
.Night

Joseph Kafka
.The Metamorphosis
.The Trial

George Orwell
.1984

I've read each and every one of these books, and would recommend them to anyone who enjoys a good novel. I would recommend mine, but as I said, you failed to note your age, and my novel cannot be sold to anyone under the age of 18.

There is a paricular book that is meant to be read by boys aged 12 or 13, but it makes a good re-read at any age:

Treasure Island.

There's a copy on my bookshelf. Sometimes it's fun to go back and be a cabin-boy again, even if only in the pages of a book.
