ok, so if my sister connects her ipod nano to my computer, she can move all of the songs on my library to her ipod, the exact same way i do it
me and my sister are getting kindles for our birthdays in april (the new versions, u no the small-ish black ones) and i was wondering if it would work the same way
basic question--------can my sister attach her kindle to my computer and add books to her kindle 'bookshelf' from my library?
hmmm that sucks a lot to consider when you buy an e-reader a lot of downs to me with only a couple of pluses
o well thnx
Answer
I don't think so, but there are two work arounds.
1. If both Kindles are registered to the same Amazon account, then any book purchased from Amazon can be sent to and read from both Kindles.
2. Even if not on the same account, Amazon has instituted a new feature so you can lend a book to a fellow Kindle owner. Not all books have this feature enabled, but many will. These books can be lent 1 time, for 14 days.

Is the Lending Library worth buying a Kindle?
Matt and C
I already have an iPad and and iPhone that I can read kindle books on but I an debating purchasing the smallest Kindle for $49 so I can use the Owners Lending Library. I also already subscribe to amazon prime. Is the Lending Library worth purchasing a separate device?
Thanks!
Answer
In my opinion....not really.
I usually borrow one book a month. Rarely are any of them really good or former bestsellers. Mostly a lot of unknown work. Although for some reason, the Hunger Games trilogy is available and defies that observation I made.
