How good are these books?

Clueless G

So i just ordered all of Sarah Dessen's books (she is an author) and if you have read them then please rate the ones you have read from 1-10 and tell me which is your favorite and which is your least favorite and why. Right now, i'm interested in Just Listen and Dreamland the most. I've read that most people's favorite book is The Truth About Forever but after reading a small excerpt it just seems really boring to me like its just about a guy and a girl.

Also has anyone read the "Vampire Academy" books by Richelle Mead? If so, how good are they? It is a 6 book series i believe. I read an excerpt and it really seems like the kind of book i will enjoy reading. Please tell me your opinion!

Last question: Does anyone have any books they can recommend to me? I love all genre of books so just leave a list of your favorite books or books that you think i should read and give me a small sample of what the book is about.

List of books i like (to help with the other question. These books are in no certain order and are just a FEW of the MANY MANY MANY MANY books i have read):

Warriors by Erin Hunter (probably my favorite book series)
I Am Number Four
Maximum Ride Series
Percy Jackson and the Olympians (2nd favorite book series)
Audrey, Wait! by Robin Benwall
What my mother doesn't know
What my girlfriend doesn't know
Meg Cabot books
The Vampire Diaries (its okay)
Perfect Chemistry
Jerry Spinelli books

Again just a SMALL list of books i have read and enjoyed. I have read much more that range from action, to suspense, to mystery, to romance novels.

Sorry this is so long but please and thanks! :)
Also, i have read The Hunger Games triology and loved it.
I am looking forward to reading Vampire Academy and the Mortal Instruments series later on in the futer (city of bones ect.)

Correction: The Secret Circle by L.J.Smith is my favorite series. Warriors #2 and Percy Jackson #3

Answer
I haven't read all of Sarah Dessen's books, but of the few I've read, I really enjoyed most of them. THIS LULLABY is by far my favorite of hers (definite 10). :) It's more of a fun summertime romance type of book compared to some of the others though. LOCK & KEY was very nice as well, and you really start to feel for the characters. I think I'd give it an 8. I liked ALONG FOR THE RIDE, so maybe a 7? It too is more like a summer romance book, but it was a lot of fun. I attempted to read SOMEONE LIKE YOU but just couldn't get into it. 0 for that one from me.

I'm REALLY looking forward to reading WHAT HAPPENED TO GOODBYE when it comes out May 10!! I read an excerpt and it sounds really good.
You can find the first chapter excerpt on her blog:

Here's more info about Sarah Dessen's books where you can read summaries and excerpts:

As for Vampire Academy... I'd definitely say give it a shot if you already think it's something you might like. It's been my number one favorite series for a while. :) It's got a great story and hot as hell love interests. :D You'll just fall in love with Dimitri, the half vampire Russian guardian. *swoon*

Here is the correct reading order:
*Vampire Academy
*Frostbite
*Shadow Kiss - omg the best book in the series
*Blood Promise
*Spirit Bound
*Last Sacrifice
More about the VA series here:
http://richellemead.com/books/vampireacademy.htm

Richelle Mead recently announced that there will be a six book spin-off series to VA coming soon. The first book (and the series) is called BLOODLINES and it releases August 23, 2011. It is also set in the VA world and features some of the minor characters from Rose's series.
