Book recommendations ?

There will be no beach vacation for me this summer so I'm planning to blast A/C and read lots. I'm 18 years old. I like books that are sort of disturbing, in a good way. But I'll read anything good. Any recommendations ? Thanks in advance :)
Yeah Kuba is totally right, I unfortunately read the first Twilight book and.. Ughh. Just nothing even remotely like Twilight please, that book sucked, a total waste of time.
