I've read The Inheritance Series (Eragon, Eldest, etc.), The Harry Potter Series, Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, the currently unfinished series of A Song of Ice and Fire (or otherwise known as "Game of Thrones"), and I just recently finished The Riftwar Saga. Now I'm looking for more great fantasy books/series like these to read. Any suggestions?

Answer
Sword of Truth.
The Wheel of Time.
Prince of Thorns.
The Wizard of Earthsea.

What fantasy book series can you recommend me?

I've grown on a lot of fantasy video games, tv shows, card games, films, and some books. I like a good fantasy series that uses a lot of lore, adventures, interesting world, characters, and monsters. Any book series that has a great dedicated fan base? More particularly a newer book series that will look like it will have a place in film or TV? If not, at least original and interesting. Please and thank you!

ps - I am a 23 year old male, if you wanted to know my age group and interests.

Answer
Try the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Has fantasy, sci-fi, horror, western, and even a little humor thrown in. The Book of Swords by Fred Saberhagen is really good also. Series about the people who each receive 1 of 12 swords forged by the Gods. Each sword has its own unique power. Game of Thrones from George R. Martin is popular right now.
