I'm just looking for ideas of books to read and I'm curious about other people's must reads, whether it's considered classical literature or modern fiction.
Answer
My best answer: http://www.interleaves.org/~rteeter/grtother.html#great - look especially at the Harvard Classics list. All the books that I should have read and mostly never did.
I hope this helps.

Its a research paper and my topic combines two books and how the main characters have a similar force to fight but one character succeeds and the other fails. I don't want it to be a simple compare and contrast format if i can help it. is there a better way to weave the texts together?
