My grandmother wants to give the book to my 7.5-year old girl cousin, and she wants to be sure it's appropriate for her.

Have you got a portable dvd player- if you have most will strap to the back of the person in front of the viewers seat. Endless entertainment. Colouring book and crayons- you can buy twisty ones so no need to sharpen. In the plane their will be possibly tv and films on, but perhaps if they have ds's they would be good. I understand that not everyone has them so perhaps like the other answer said take soem travel games. Games like I spy and hangman and those kind. Have a fun trip
