I am doing the Sunday NY times crossword puzzle and for example:
Q. Banned book of 1928?
A. LADYCHTERLEYSLOVER
How would I know to drop those letters?
Answer
The title of the puzzle may give you a clue why the AT is missing.

What is one of your favorite book that is a page turner?

I have a lot more time on my hands to read and am looking for a few good books that you can't put down to read. Some NY Times Bestsellers aren't exactly great. I've read a bunch by John Grisham, Dan Brown, and Michael Crichton but don't really don't know any more authors.
Answer
Nothing better than a good, gripping, page-turner, huh?
I enjoyed these:
Dragons of Autumn Twilight
by: Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman
A murder is announced
Death on the Nile
both by: Agatha Christie
Father Elijah (cloak-n-dagger Catholic fiction)
Eclipse of the sun
(and most especially) A Cry of Stone (self-knowledge genre)
all by: Michael D. O' Brien
I've read many well-written books, but none have touched my soul as profoundly as A Cry of Stone. I've never grown attached to a main character in any novel I've read, but Rose in A Cry of Stone broke my heart in a beautiful way. I remember feeling a little blue as the denouement approached.
Rose's integrity was magnificent and her positive outlook never became cloying...thank God.
