greatest nonfiction books of all time image

For an english project i need a nonfiction book that tells a story. It has to be at least 200 pages (if it's a couple pages short that's okay). I dont normally read nonfiction so i dont know what to read here. Please name as many as possible.

There are plenty of biographies or partial ones that will work. Corrie Ten Boom's "The Hiding Place" works. So does David Wise's "Cassidy's Run." Check with your teacher, because you could also use Michael Crichton's "The Great Train Robbery" (we read this for a high school project, as Crichton wrote this whole book based entirely off notes and research from the time and didn't really fictionalize any of it).

I love realistic fiction from different parts of the world like "A Thousand Splendid Suns" and "House of the Scorpion."
I also like biographies and autobiographies of succesful people.
I like personal nonfiction books like "Rats" where a narrator makes their research on a specific topic personal.
