There's this 9 year old girl I know. She never plays pretend like the rest of her friends at school (I came for a visit). During recess she sits on the bench and reads her science book, and when she plays, the game is jump rope or something that relates to the real world.

She is probably just more mature then the rest of her class. This is usually a good thing. This could be the reason she is sitting on the bench alone. She probably just doesn't fit in with the rest of the girls.

I am going to tutor a 9 year-old girl for reading over the summer. It sounds like she is not a big fan of reading and the parents do not want her to fall behind. Does anyone know of some sort of test or questioner that can help determine what kind of books she would enjoy based on her personality?
