I'm looking for a really good personal account of the vietnam war. Two of my favorites are " Across the fence", and " Nam Sense, surviving the vietnam war with the 101st Airborne". It doesnt have to be a special ops account, just a good personal account like a diary or something.

Is there any well known book on media and the Vietnam war?

With the passing of Walter Cronkite i've heard the phrases like "media lost the Vietnam war for America" passed around in forums and the like. I'm not trying to get into politics but rather I'm interested in the subject and it just so happens I'm a college student at the Univ. of Texas at Austin taking an American Studies class on 'LBJ and Nixon and the American Culture.' We have to have a topic for our essay by next wednesday and this is what I think i'm going to write it on.
