Hey guys i have book report to due, and i need some suggestions for books. Im not interested in books so thats why im asking for help.
First of all here are a few things you should know. I do not like those romance books or books about girls. I HATE twilight so please no. I would be interested in maybe a murder or mystery type of book something that would grab your attention. It also has to be at least 200 pages.
So yeah help!

Im not to great on murder mystery however if you want a good action/adventure book i have two choices for ya that are worth trying (each is more then 200 pages) that is very easy to read and are quite enjoyable if you give them a chance(and has a whole series to it)
The first is Pendragon by DJ MacHale first one is called "The merchant of Death" it actually is a great read
here is a plot synopsis:
In the first book of the series, The Merchant of Death, Bobby Pendragon is leading a normal life in Stony Brook, a suburb of New York City, where he is the star of Stony Brook Middle School's basketball team. When he is fourteen, his uncle Press Tilton takes him to an abandoned train station where he and Bobby travel through a portal through space and time called a flume. Bobby soon finds himself in a different territory â Pressumably worlds across both space and time â called Denduron, where two important tribes are on the brink of a civil war because one tribe is forcing the other to work in mines. There Bobby discovers he was chosen to be a 'Traveler' between territories in order to defeat Saint Dane, an evil figure who wishes to tip all of Halla (the entirety of everything that exists, has existed, or will exist, including persons, time, and space) into chaos so that he can remake it according to his desire. To save it, Bobby must rescue ten territories from destruction.
Each territory has its own "turning point", which is a critical point in a territory's history in which the people must make an important decision. Saint Dane is trying to manipulate the people into making decisions that would create chaos, while the Travelers are trying stop him and let the people make their own choices.
Second would be Eragon by Christopher Paolini
The book tells the story of a young farm boy named Eragon, who finds a mysterious stone in the mountains. A dragon named Saphira hatches from the stone, which was really an egg. When King Galbatorix finds out about Eragon and his dragon, he sends his servants after them in an effort to capture them. Eragon and Saphira are forced to flee from their hometown, and decide to search for the Varden, a group of rebels who want to see the downfall of Galbatorix.
plus there is a movie of the same name for that book which gives you something to use as reference material (although it isnt nearly as good as the book)
try those out, out of the two i would go for Eragon, its one of those books i found very hard to put down and was very easy to get into and can be found in any local library.

Im taking my girlfriend to New York, and i've only been there twice so I dont know much about it, and its her favorite place. I havnt told her i was taking her yet, because im doing it as a birthday present. So i need to know what we could do. I want to take her to a decent dinner, and keep her occupied for the day, without spending a crap load of money. Any ideas?

The observation deck at the Top of the Rock might not be as famous as the Empire State Building Observation Deck, but that is one of its prime advantages making it far less crowded. In addition, timed ticketing means avoiding the crazy waits that are routine at the Empire State Building, and you can enjoy beautiful views of Central Park, as well as the Empire State Building itself from the Top of the Rock.

This Beaux-Arts building was the largest marble building in the U.S. at the time of its construction in 1911. Medieval Art Museum
Heading up to Fort Tyron Park in Upper Manhattan where the Cloisters is located is a transporting experience -- it's amazing that you can be somewhere with so many trees and such beautiful vistas of the Hudson River and still be in Manhattan. The Cloisters itself was created using pieces of five medieval cloisters from Europe, and houses over 1,200 pieces of medieval art. The most famous pieces in the Cloisters collection are probably the Unicorn tapestries.
