"Golf is God's Game: Golf from a Biblical Perspective
At the age of seven, author Tony M. Small accompanied his parents to the local golf course, never knowing that golf would become an integral part of his life. After a few years of playing, Small couldnât imagine life without it.

After graduating from college, Small realized that his love for golf, when combined with his personal relationship with God, made him a better golfer. Golf is Godâs Game is Smallâs story of the journey that has given him insight into life, golf, and the interpersonal relationships necessary to be successful in golf and in business.

Using the wonderful stories in the Bible as a basis for the structural knowledge necessary to play great golf, Golf is Godâs Game relates the mental and emotional side of the game, with Biblical background to help the common person become a better golfer, person, and spouse. Small discusses subjects such as the following:

Coping with your failures
Developing patience and self-control
Expressing love
Learning to listen to God

Through an honest and sincere relationship with God, you can find the strength necessary to improve your golf game and your life!

This is one book about golf your wife would want you to own, and read!"

Sounds pretty rediculous to me; I don;t know a golfer that has not prayed for a good result while their ball was in the air, and I would imagine the results of those prayers to be all but insignificant.

Getting to know god won;t improve your golf game; thats like saying having a beer with Tiger Woods every week will give you a longer drive.

The only thing that will improve your game is practice.

what's instructional golf books would you recommend?

All of these references have great information on the sport of golf and they are all interesting in their own way.

Good question!
