I just started the book yesterday and I'm almost to the end of the Benjy section. So far this book has been really difficult to read and fully understand, but not too bad. I can't wait to say I actually got through the whole book. What does anyone else who has read it think about the book?
Answer
Just finished the book for class and I really enjoyed it. Benjy's section is really difficult the first time but on the second read it makes so much sense trust me. And I'll tell you this now Quentin's chapter is harder, by 10 fold. The last 2 chapters make a ton more sense though. I'm gonna post a hyperlink down in the sources. In this link it puts Benjy's chapter in chronological order and helps so much because the timeline clarifies whats going on. Are you asking people who've read the book clarification questions and reading the sparknotes? That is really important. This is Faulkner's masterpiece, its rough but its so eloquently written you can't take it all in the first time. Its great, enjoy.

Audio book for The Sound and The Fury by William Faulkner?
questioner
I'm searching for a free, if possible, audio book or a website where I can listen to William Faulkner's The Sound and The Fury?
Also, what are torrents and do they have a virus?
Answer
I wouldn't recommend it. This work is difficult enough to appreciate given the numerous perspective shifts and extended scenes of stream of consciousness without a third party getting involved. I'm afraid to understand Faulkner's work you have to read it the old fashioned way.
