ANIME GO!
I'm a amazon prime and i my kindle account won't become prime. I can't borrow books from the library
Answer
You need to have a physical Kindle, not a Kindle app. It is the Kindle Owner's lending Library.
Books can only be borrowed and read on Kindle devices (works with all Kindle generations).

(and note - if you want to borrow a textbook, the bigs ones can only be downloaded to a tablet or PC and borrowing one would require a Kindle Fire tablet since borrowing from the Kindle Owner's Library needs a physical Kindle)
The Kindle must be registered to your Amazon account. In addition your account settings may need to have a debit or credit card (I know that is required for buying Kindle books, even free ones).

Kindle Fire prime books?
Elissa
My mom is the main Prime owner, but I have access to it. Like, I can get the two day free shipping. My question is kindle fire has a prime option for lending books. Is there anyway I can get in on that without pay the membership? I'm linked to my moms account. Shouldn't that be enough?
Answer
The Kindle Prime membership lets family member share the free 2-day shipping. But the Free Kindle Lending Book Library and Videos are only for the original member and one device.
Here's a quote from Amazon.
"Prime members under a free trial or paid subscription can share their shipping benefits with up to 4 additional family members living in the same household, or up to 4 coworkers to shop for the related account. Other Prime membership benefits such as Prime instant video and the Kindle Owners' Lending Library can't be shared."
