Is there a website that you can read books online at the computer?
im basically trying to find a book called "eclipse" online Does anyone know a website that lets uyou read it?

The Gutenberg Project transcribes the full text of books that are no longer under copyright. http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Main_Page

Popular fiction and books with more recent publication dates are not available online as that is against the law.

Authors write to make a living, then get publishing deals that benefit the publisher, too. There is no reason to post the entire text of a copyrighted work online and give it away for free.

I need the chronological description of the number of books of project gutenberg. I saw in few months back somewhere in internet, but can't find it now. 10 Points to any one who can give me exact figures as well as the link to that site
