People still think 90s music is cool and the trends and fashions are still here. It's just the techonology party that's different.
During the 90s, there was a strong backlash against the 80s but there never was any backlash against the 90s.
Why hasn't there been much change?

My favorite foreign movie from the 00's called "The Yakubian's Building", "عÙارة ÙعÙÙبÙاÙ" it's an egyptian movie similar to "Magnolia" and "Crash"
It's also a very famous egyptian novel, a wonderful WONDERFUL movie and a must see one
The whole story of the movie talks about different people from different kinds, all lives in one building called "Yakubian" in cairo-Egypt
One is a night prostitute, one is a poor girl who works from day to night to feed her family, One works in a french newspaper who's also gay, One is a bad minister, Brother and sister fights all the time over an apartment, one is a sick investigator, who torture and beat people for everything ....ETC
It was made in 2006, and was this close to get an oscar nomination for best Foreign language movie and the first egyptian movie to ever get an oscar nomination
Also "La Vie En Rose",mainly because of Marion cottilar's Performance, the movie was kinda dull

I also like every movie from the novilest "Ihsan Abd Alqudos" who wrote amazing books turned into very famous movies such as "I'm Free", "I will not live in my dad's uniform", "The Empty Pillow", "The Bullet is still in my pocket", "The Black Glasses", "The Closed Barrel" (AMAZING movie), "A Man in Our House"....ETC
There's also a hilarious movie called "Very smarts but very Stupid"...it talks about a bunch og collage male students who wants a place to live in, so they dress like females and go and live in a house for females only....it's hilarious
