best books to study for gre image

So the 3 books that I can't decided between are of course PR, Kaplan & Barrons and I've heard a lot of good and bad things about all of them. I'm not that bad at math already so a book that isn't too amazing in the math section wouldn't be too bad. I do need a REALLY high score in the writing and verbal sections for the graduate program that I am going to be applying for. Which book would you recommend for a high writing and verbal score? Also, should I bother buying the CD with the book?
Answer
I personally think that the Princeton Review book is best. It devotes a lot of space to the verbal section and contains a hefty list of vocabulary words you should know. It also explains different strategies for answering questions on the verbal section, which tend to get rather difficult. When I took the GRE, I found these strategies to be very helpful. (I'm a math guy, so I didn't need a really high score in this section, but using the strategies at least showed that I was literate.) There is also a section on practice topics for the writing portion with strategies for getting a high score.
I don't think you need to buy any CD with it. The CD isn't going to tell you anything different from the PR book.

I am taking the standard GRE test (not the subject-specific one). Anyone have any suggestions about good books or materials to help me prepare for it?
