Is The Lord Of The Rings books the best books ever written , to me j.j.r Tolkien is the best writer ever , and lord of the rings is the best hands down no question about it .
It is a masterpiece there is not other book like it it is timeless and will go on forever in my opinion u can read it again and again , i mean tolkien even made up his own language in the book to me it's the greatest books ever written .

âThe Lord of the Ringsâ is not a trilogy but one single book consisting of an introduction, six lesser books, and appendices divided by the publisher into three volumes with each volume having a separate name. This was done for reasons of cost and marketing. Tolkien himself complained about commentators who wrongly referred to his writing as a trilogy.
Tolkien did not really make up his own language. Rather he partially made up several different languages but completed none of them. And he was far from the first person who has introduced a language he or she has invented into novels. I can think of Edgar Rice Burroughs in various books and Austen Tappen Wright in his âIslandiaâ off-hand. And I know I have read others.
No book is timeless. Language changes. Elizabethan writing is close to being hard-to-understand English for many. Middle English takes some studying. Or if you are not talking about that, then what are you talking about? Do you mean that it will still be read, in some form or another, as long as mankind exists, like thousands and thousands of books in modern libraries?
