I am 29 yrs. old and I was a Christian for 12 years and have read the entire bible. Recently in the past year I have got into reading books and into science. Therefore, I have became an atheist and am currently reading: The end of faith by Sam Harris, The god delusion by Richard Dawkins, and God is not great by Christopher Hitchens. I am loving these books and I love how there is factual information in there, not just philosophy or what the author thinks. On the other hand, I want to read something a little different (not only about religion) and probably still scientific. Think I would prefer to read books wrote in the last decade to be clear. If you do not want to suggest a book then maybe just the next topic I should get into, thanks
Adrien, have you read the bible? Do you know the bible says the earth is flat, has four corners, edges, and is held up with pillars? Do you know the bible is against homosexuality and thinks it is a personal choice? Do you know the bible spells out the proper way to beat a slave? Not to mention genocides in the bible are abundant...i'll stop there, lol.

Try books of Stephen Hawking (especially "Grand Design"). They are awesome and very informative about the origin of the universe. He's also an atheist (if I'm not mistaken) so you should probably go along well with it hahaha.
PS. I'm not trying to criticize or anything but I don't see how science books will make you an atheist if you are a Christian (or at least if you truly understood what the bible and Christ teaches us). Nevertheless, you are free to believe whatever is viable to you.

How has internet security changed in the last decade?
George B
The question I have is, how has internet security changed in the last decade? I have a text book from 1995 however I want to know what kind of things have been introduced since then to improve security, whether it be techniques, software, changes in operating systems, etc.
Just the list of the names of the changes/development would be great!
Haha, thanks to all that have helped so far. I know there are lots - so just the major breakthroughs would be great!!
Answer
Oh so much has changed because with good comes evil doers.
