I have read only one book on theoretical quantum physics as my point of interest is in parallel universes and bubble universe theory. I have only taken general ed. physics so don't refer anything that will go completely over my head. Oh and if you know any other awesome physics theories please let me know.

Answer
IF YOU wish to learn quantum physics get a book from a college or university near you ...

my book is by author Resnick

Can you recommend a good physics book for me?

I don't really have any understanding on most of modern science such as quantum physics, but I do want an understanding of it. I know differential and integral calculus, but nothing above that. I have also read two books on special relativity and I'm currently reading a book on quantum physics (it's a beginner's book). Based on this, what book should I read?

Answer
Have you tried reading some of the classical works of Newton, Einstein, or coppericus all of their works can be found in Hawkings "On the shoulders of giants "series these books require an understanding of high school calculus.
