I have to pick a summer reading book and I am not really sure what to pick. It can be any book, but it has be a book for 9th graders. Erg I hope I make sense... Just a book aimed for 9th graders and not something like Where the Wild Things Are. Thanks!!
I'll give more details from gldnsilnc's suggestion. Well I am a girl and I prefer fiction over nonfiction. Basically I love all genres except books like Gossip Girl and such. I am not a big fan of those kinds of books
Oh and some of my favorite books are Twilight, The Mediator, Uglies, Midnighters, The Realm of Possibility, and The Yer of Secret Assignments. Hope that gives u an idea! But seriously I do love all books <3
Well except books like Gossip Girl, but other than that, I love them all!
Answer
Take your pick, they're all good (at least, I like them)...
By Libba Bray:
A Great and Terrible Beauty
Rebel Angels
By Harper Lee:
To Kill a Mockingbird
By John Green:
Looking for Alaska
By Alice Sebold:
The Lovely Bones
By Agatha Christie:
any book, but I especially like And Then There Were None
Any book by Steven King
By Holly Black:
Tithe
Valiant
Ironside
By J.D. Salinger:
Catcher in the Rye
Franny & Zooey
By Anne Rice:
anything, but you might want to start with Interview With the Vampire
By Jennifer Donnelly:
A Northern Light
By Laura Whitcomb:
A Certain Slant of Light
By Diane Setterfield:
The Thirteenth Tale
Some of these are more geared toward adults rather than teens, but that doesn't mean that you can't read them, right?
And I would recommend Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, but you said you already read it. Have you read New Moon? Personally, I don't think it's as good as Twilight, but you could read that if you haven't yet.
