I follow buddhist philosophy but would I still be considered atheist/nonreligious?
zaaa zaaa
I liked what buddha taught and while i don't believe in the supernatural aspects of some parts of buddhist religion i like the more secular type of buddhism. i really liked that book "buddhism without beliefs" as it taught a lot about gautama, zen, meditation. meditation and yoga have proven health benefits.
Answer
Technically, yes...
Specifically:
Non-religious -- no...
Atheist -- yes.
Buddhism is an atheistic religion.
There is a difference between "supernatural aspects" and "a supreme entity."
BTW: The roots of yoga are in Hinduism, not Buddhism.
