I am looking for a GOOD Japanese cook book that is something I could give as a gift and for use for myself(coming out or already published).Where might I find one? And what is it called? What are your opinions on this book?

I lived in Japan for 7 years and I'm studying to become a chef. I would like to learn how to make Japanese food but my supermarket doesn't have a whole lot for ingredients, only some typical condiments and a few vegetables but not a whole lot of variety. Any recommendations?
