im think about getting a Kindle for my birthday and i was wondering where can i go to get kindle book downloads for free...because most of the classics on amazon are boring (that probably y there free) and i dont want to read them...I mostly like to read books from african american authors but i dont want to pay no $8 and up just to get a book

there are some authors who have given books to gutenberg.org like Corey Doctorow http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/author/3826 some authors in public domain are very good like H Beam Piper although I am not sure which are African American.
you likely can get most books by using your local library and overdrive http://www.overdrive.com/
I put links to websites that often have free ebooks many of them only temporarily and watch out because some people confuse get free and can borrow with prime

How can you read books on nook on my iTouch?

I bought the app and the books, downloaded them and everything but when I want to read them I'll click on it and it will just bring up the details on what the book is about..HELP!!

I had the same problem. However, I was completely unfamiliar with the iTouch at the time, and was not in my Nook library, I was still in the browse section. Could that be the problem for you too?
