What are good books for a 3 year old that would encourage clear, articulated speech?
My 3 year old girl just turn three on Monday. She is very talkative, but her speech is not clear or audible. I'm looking for books that could help encourage better speech. I'm considering also to get a speech pathologist to help her if it's not too expensive out of pocket.

Hi. When I was around that age, my mum introduced me to Dr Suess, and I found him very easy to understand. And because of the repetitiveness, the rhymes, and the humour (with a lot of consonants!), I found the words easy to say. So I would recommend them for your daughter. Especially: "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish", "Green Eggs and Ham", "The Cat in the Hat" etc. There are also some good books under the Dr Suess label, although not actually written by him, e.g.: "The Big Honey Hunt" by Stan & Jan Berenstain and "A Fish Out Of Water" by Helen Palmer. Also "Where The Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak.
I believe that above all, you have to make sure the reading is fun.
If your daughter's speech at 3 years of age is extremely hard to understand, then you should definitely consider consulting a speech pathologist.
One thing you can do is, when you are talking with your daughter, articulate your words clearly and speak slowly. Don't forget to look directly at her face while you talk. Positive daily involvement from a parent and/or a loving caregiver can make the process much smoother. After all, you (the parent) are a kind of "super model" for your child's speech and language development and she will be watching and copying you all the time.

What's the price you will have to pay for not returning a Library Book?
Loveless
I checked library books about 3 years ago. And those books were lost by my brother. In order to check out new books. Will I have to pay each individual book or pay a fee? I've never really used a public library to study. Now that I need to, What will I have to do?
Answer
Here, we have to pay a general late fee for each book returned late in addition replacing the book by paying for it's value
Hope this helps!
