What's a good 9th grade level book?

I need something interest, I read Twilight and the hunger games already, I was thinking about reading some Nicholas spark' books but idk.

Answer
Nicholas Sparks is good if you are into love stories - I would start with A Walk to Remember personally.

Also, I think the Love Comes Softly series is a great idea too and Anne of Green Gables.

For action adventure with some fun, maybe check out Alex Rider by horowitz.

There is a funny book out too called A Heroes Guide to Saving Your Kingdom by Healy - it is so funny! If you like the mixed up fairytale idea.

Another book I loved in 9th grade was Princess Bride.

For classics - I read Louisa Alcott's books - Jo's Boys and Little Women. I also ventured into Jane Austen books.

If you like fantasy books, you might like Treasures of Darkness Treasures of Light by Geno Allen. It is a new teen novel on Amazon that I like. I would also recommend the Narnia books if you havent read them already. They are wonderful!

What's a good book (9th grade girl)?

Q. I'm on vacation and I need to get a book to read ASAP! I don't want a book with goth/murder/sifi stuff. I want like a girls book. Please give me any suggestions you think of! Thank you!

Answer
The definition of a girl's book can be pretty wide. I mean, a lot of things can fall under that category. But what I think you mean is something where the main character is a girl, deals with the problems a girl would, and isn't serious and depressing. I would recommend Gail Carson Levine's books (like Ella Enchanted), Jessica Day George's or Shannon Hale's, if you're looking for something more fantasy-ish. If you're looking for something set in the normal world, I would recommend The Confessions of Georgia Nicholson by Louise Rennison (at least, I'm pretty sure that's the author's name) and Austenland by Shannon Hale. I don't really get into feminine books unless they're funny/adventurous/magical, so those are the only recommendations I have.

Hope I helped!
