Vampire Academy books?

after i finished the twilight series and the house of night series i was looking for something else, kindda similiar & i heard about the vampire academy books. so i was just wondering if anyone read them and if they were any good.

read them they're great.
if you liked the twilight series, you'll love these. they might not be as good, but they'll do! lol

the books are based on a girl named rose hathaway..and they have that factor of 'forbidden love' (she falls in love with a guy she's not supposed to be in love with)
and she has to choose between this guy and her bestie.
there's 3 books so far:
(in order)
vampire academy
frost bite
shadow kiss

the 4th book's coming out in august, and the 5th in 2011.

I never read for fun, because every book I pick up makes me want to fall asleep, or is boring. I have read the Twilight Series, and i loved it! It was the only book(s) that made me actually WANT to read it.
