i read a lot, but am having a hard time finding more good books. trick is i have to read a book (and do a report on it) that has a Lexie of over 855. lexile is just like how hard or easy a book is to read. all the books im reading now or want to read aren't that high. any suggestions??

A really good book is the possibility of fireflies, it is so good. I did my book report on it in nineth grade!

Fourteen year old Ellie, her older sister, Gwen, and her mother have been toughing it ouot ever since Ellie's father walked out on them. Ellie spends a lot of time alone, especially at night, when all she has to keep her company are the fireflies that flicker in the summer air.. and the undying hope that someone will come and rescue her from her unhappy life.
Then one day Leo enters her dark world. Leo is handsome, older and on his way to becoming a rock star. Ellie thinks that maybe he can be the one to save her. What she learns from leo is that no one can save you- You have to find a way to save yourself
So one night- one terrible, frightening, thrilling night- that's exactly what Ellie decides to do.

These are mainly for girls...so I'll put them anyways you can ignore this if you don't like them. Well basically these are romantic comedy/drama books. They aren't to inappropriate, I actually don't remember which books were inappropriate or not...so if you need to get a parent to check it out for you before reading. An author I forgot on this list is Sara Shepards she writes Pretty Little Liars which is an amazing series but it is inappropriate in the sex and language content. If you do decide to read off the list I suggest you start with Jennifer Echols's books they are AMAZING. I love her books!

I suggest you not read Dark Secrets 1 or 2 if you get scared easily.
