Any ideas on a good 3rd grade read aloud book with a fun activity???
Answer
Some books I liked in third grade are(I'm a 7th grader)
-Dragon rider this is a long book but it's a very good book I read it in 3rd grade
-The tail of desperado I liked this book too
-Any thing Judy Moody this a fun third grade book
-Geronimo Stiliten i don't know how to spell the last part. I recommend this book out of all of them. It's very fun to read. It a series book but it doesn't have to go in order.

A Children's chapter book for children around 3rd grade.?

There was a book series that I read when I was in third grade and I cannot remember the name of it. It was about a girl, and she had blond hair that she wore in sloppy pig tails, on the covers of the books she always wore an over sized white tee shirt and blue jeans, and it was pretty comical (kind of like the Junie B. books of the 90s...I think.) Anyways, I have a little sister that I'm trying to help with reading and I was hoping someone could help me with this. Thanks!

hmmm I was THINKING Junie B...but I guess u said that's not it. I don't know. But I remember reading this book about a nanny/ she was really funny and like things would get way out of control, like the baby would be eating and the whole house would get covered in mashed peas and stuff like that.
But I am helping my 3rd grade brother read. And we actually found this book, a mystery that he really likes. It's called,
A ghost in Sleepy Hollow" or something like that! anyway..he really likes it, he's not a perfect reader so it takes him a while to read one chapter, but if you find something they are intersted in, they'll usually seem to actually read a little better.
Take her to the library and most have a kids section find her a few of each tipe, mystery, fiction, biography, exc. And a few goofy things..stuff like Junie B. and let her see what she likes best.
Sorry I couldn't help with your question though...
