Edit: Seems that the bible would be in the top spot. There are now over a billion Muslims however.

Don Quixote is the most selling novel of all time at over 500 million copies sold.
The most sold book is the Bible at over 6 billion copies throughout the ages. Quotations from Chairman Mao comes in second with over 900 million copies sold. The man who says Quotations has sold more than the bible isn't being logical. Quotations is very new. The bible has been being sold for over a thousand years.
