Answer
One of my very favorite books in the world - A Wrinkle in Time, by Madeleine L'Engle. I love all of her books.
Other great books:
Matilda, and The BFG, and The Witches; by Roald Dahl
The View From Saturday, and From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg
Baby Island, and Caddie Woodlawn; by Carol Ryrie Brink
The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles, and Mandy; by Julie Edwards
Into the Dream, by William Sleator
Dear Mr. Henshaw, by Beverly Cleary
The Hero and the Crown, and The Blue Sword; by Robin McKinley (well, maybe when you're 13)
Anne of Green Gables, by L.M. Montgomery
The Egypt Game, by Zilpha Keatley Snyder

I am entering 6th grade and I need books to read.?
Mimi
I am entering 6th grade and my teacher has a separate book club just for me because I am at such a high level. I've read the Harry Potter books and a lot of Judy Blume. I want a challenge. My teacher said I am reading at past a High School level and so I want to read at that level. I need some good books maybe Fantasy. I love fantasy and my teacher also said I could read adult novels. Please make them appropriate though I am entering 6th grade and tell me what the books about please. Thanx so much. :)
I've read Lord of the Rings and I read every "classic" you listed.
