English language schools in London?

Nazia

I am interested in doing a course less than a 6 month because I am going to apply for a General visitor visa. My main goal is to improve my spoken fluency. My Ielts is : 7.0, 7.5 in speaking.

Please suggest me some language schools around London.

Answer
Hello. I am writing from a really great English language school in central London. It sounds like you already have a high IELTS score; however, you can book a course with us for any length of time to help you with any specific areas of English you would like to improve.

You can find more information on our website:

Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to help.

Can someone recommend a great spanish language novel as a gift?

Aloha

One of my closest friends likes to read books in Spanish rather than English because Spanish is her native language. I want to buy a really thoughtful birthday gift, and I thought a popular novel translated into Spanish would be perfect. Any recommendations as to where i could purchase this type of gift?

Answer
You can get most books that were originally written in English, translated to Spanish. You should try stores like Amazon.com or Borders.com. Online is easier than actual stores, in most places, because they cater to international clients, and have things you wouldn't find in many actual stores. Also, smaller-demand items are easier for them to keep.

Anything by Isabel Allende might do....once you look her up, you'll be directed to other novels.

There are a number of New Mexican writers who write in both languages, simultaneously translating as they write. You might search that.

Good luck. Sounds like a great gift!
