Answer
I will suggest you to start your preparation from now, give around 2 hours everyday. Focus on all the three sections by finding out your areas of improvements.
Join Mock Tests, that is must and surely helps !
Following additional points would be helpfull for you
1. Find out your areas of improvement:
Firstly you need to find out which all areas you need to work on.You will have to start your preparation depending on the no. of areas of improvement. More the no. of areas of improvement more preparation time is needed.
2. Need of Classroom Coaching, is it really needed?
This totally depends on the discretion of candidate. If he feels he requires coaching in certain areas he should go for it. But always remember one thing to crack the questions that comes in exams like CAT requires a good foundation which comes along with your schooling till 12th standard.

Answer
You are welcome to pursue MS in Psychology if you are genuinely, seriously interested in the subject. Other wise, there are much better options for you. The ideas suggested below is sort of a 5-year plan, but you will be laying the foundation for success in the long-run:
If I were in your shoes, I would take my current job seriously and give my best and learn from the job and everything related to the job. This is my foundation. In my spare time, I will be preparing for CAT (Common Admission Test) as well as XAT exams. I will be preparing methodically over the next one or two years during my spare time. Why take both exams? Because they are very similar and time taken for preparation applies for both. I can apply for a wider range of colleges. Why take so long to prepare? That is what it takes to get your best score. It is time well spent, in my opinion.
If you want to take courses, take "coaching classes" to prepare for CAT and/or XAT exams. There are also books you can purchase and prepare for these at home.
After getting my results, I would apply for good MBA programs such BIM, which requires CAT and LIBA, which requires XAT, and Anna University, which uses a different entrance exam. If you prepare for CAT and XAT, you will do well in this exam also. Instead of online or correspondence courses, go to a real school either full-time or part-time. This way, you meet people, talk to people, and make new friends that will help you in your career. You will also get internship and campus recruitment opportunities.
By the time you apply for MBA programs, you will have 3 years of work experience from Cognizant. If you cannot afford full-time studies, you can try part-time or evening MBA programs. LIBA and Anna University offer part-time programs. Go to the program websites and learn about them. Go to the LIBA, and Anna University in person and speak with counselors. Do this research seriously and methodically. This itself is a form of career training.
Good Luck!
