Holocaust Books?

Shannan

I'm really interested in learning more about the Holocaust and I've made a huge list of books about it. I can't get them all and obviously don't have them all on my list. I'd like to put all the books I can on my list and then narrow it down some.
So, please list your top three favorite Holocaust books and their authors. Comments about them aren't required, but would be appreciated.
Thanks!
If it's in your top three, keep it there, but I'm reading Night, by Elie Wiesel right now for English (and liking it so far, although I just started it).
I'm also going to be reading From a Name to a Number, by Alter Weiner. I heard him speak and I'm really excited to get started on it. I would reccomend the book to anyone else looking for books about the Holocaust.

Three excellent books, 2 non-fiction and 1 fiction, are:
-The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom (about a Christian family who hides Jewish people from the Nazis and helps them escape only to be betrayed and sent to the Concentration Camps themselves)
-Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl (about a young Jewish girl, her family and others hiding from the Nazis in an attic...only to be found)
-The Devil's Arithmetic by Jane Yolen (novel about a Jewish girl who travels back in time and witnesses the horrors of a Nazi Concentration Camp)

They are all heartbreakingly good. I don't know what these are like, but I put in "Nazi, Concentration Camps, Jewish" at Amazon and this list http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=sr_adv_b/?search-alias=stripbooks&unfiltered=1&field-keywords=Nazi%2C+concentration+camp%2C+Jewish&field-author=&field-title=&field-isbn=&field-publisher=&node=&url=&field-binding=&field-subject=&field-language=&field-dateop=&field-datemod=&field-dateyear=&sort=relevancerank&Adv-Srch-Books-Submit.x=31&Adv-Srch-Books-Submit.y=11 of books was the result.

I hope this helps (though you've probably already heard of the ones I've mentioned).

Books about the Holocaust?

We're doing this thing in class where we have to study the Holocaust and I need a book. Everyone else (literally EVERYONE) in my class is reading The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, Devil's Arithmetic & Daniel's Story but I've read those. I'm 14, but I have a very advanced reading level. I just finished reading War & Peace (and mind you, i've read all these books on MY time, not b/c they were assigned for anything), Anna Karenina, The Kingdom of God Is Within You & all the other Tolstoy's in my library, Lolita, Let The Right One In(a bit difficult actually), I read Moby Dick and Oliver Twist when I was in 2nd grade and I'm halfway through The Brothers Karamazov, so I would like a book on the Holocaust that matches my reading levels, please(:
and yes, I have read The Diary of Anne Frank, as well
