I have about 30 bucks and I am going to barns and nobles what are some book good for C++ learning meduin level and advanced + how to use C++ in visuals because my codes doesn't work in visual 2005

Answer
Medium to Advanced c++ book?

First of all, may I suggest you do not buy a book from B&B since their prices are through the roof. Now about your question I will seriously recommend the following

c++ primer
ISBN 0201824701

Check www.half.com you might be able to get this one for under $20

This is not and introductory book as it cover many of the advanced features of c++ from the start. If you desire to expand your knowledge of c++ I also recommend:

The C++ Standard Library: A Tutorial and Reference
ISBN 0201379260

A little more than 30 bucks, but well worth the price. Hope that helps.

Ways to Learn C (Books and (&&) or (||) videos)?

Jack W

I´m currently seeing some videos and taking note more like an autodidactic class.
I have currently this books at hand
-C For Dummies 2nd Edition
-K&R Second Edition
-Absolute beginner's guide to c by greg perry

Wich will be the best way to learn, with the books or videos or both?
I know the best way is to practice, but I´m more focusing in main concepts, basic rules,etc.

Wich has been your guide to learning C guys?
Excuse me for the question but is this the last edition to date of the book you linked me to?
