Young Adult Book Suggestions?

Katheryn

I have just finished reading the Harry Potter series and I'm not sure what to read next. I only read YA books, as I am only fifteen and find the idea of 'adult books' boring and stupid (Just an honest comment, please do not badger me about it).

Here is a list of books and series that I have read;
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead (still working on that one)
Maximum Ride by James Patterson (Have yet to read Angel)
The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod by Heather Brewer (haven't read the last book)
The Immortals by Alyson Noel (still working on it)
Radiant by Alyson Noel
Night Runner by Max Turner
The Fallen by Thomas Sneigoski
The Hush, Hush saga by Becca Fitzpatrick
The Mortal Instrument by Casandra Clare (haven't read City of FAs)
Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan
The Heroes of Olympus: The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan
The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan
The Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith (kinda bored with it at the moment)
The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass (only about half of it, I got a bit distracted by HP).
Yellow Fever 1979 -
Night Road -

And I don't really want to read any more vamp stories unless they are really good. I'm open to all mythical creatures and humans, all writing styles. I'm fine with swearing, so long as it's not excessive or immaturely used. I don't read books that are 'sexually explicit', I don't mind romance (I in fact sorta love it), but I prefer more modest things.

Good Teen/Young Adult Books?

xoxo_Victo

Some really good teen and/or young adult books! I don't want them to contain vampires, I am burnt out on the vampire thing. I have read Harry Potter. :) I am currently reading The Hunger Games(AMAZING). Something that's realistic fiction or fantasy! Thanks.

Happy Reading. :D

Answer
Harry Potter, and I agree with previous person who suggested it, doesn't everyone know what it's about?
Harry Potter includes (in reading order):
-Harry Potter and the Philosepher's Stone \ Sorcerer's Stone
-Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
-Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
-Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
-Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix
-Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
-Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

If you're into vampires:
Vampire Academy: Join Rose, a dhampir guardian, that involves saving the lives of the Moroi that dhampires were always supposed to protect, and even to ultimately save herself from the effects of Spirit and the bond with Vasilisa Dragomir because of being shadow-kissed, and she kills plenty of Strigoi (rogue-vampires) along the way. Rosemarie Hathaway is a dangerous guardian.

(I just kind of gave my own crappy summary)
Vampire Academy includes (in reading order):
-Vampire Academy
-Frostbite
-Shadow-Kissed
-Blood Promise
-Spirit Bound
-Last Sacrifice

Also if you're into vampires:
House of Night: Zoey Montgomery, I mean, Zoey Redbird, is one girl who transforms seriously quick into a vampyre. Her crescent moon shape (the mark each fledgling vampyre recieves as they are Marked) is filled in, and quickly she is getting tattoos. But not only the tattoos are weird, Zoey's an Affinity Goddess! Join her on her adventure to save almost all of the vampyres in her world!

(Again, another crappy summary)
House of Night includes (in reading order):
-Marked
-Betrayed
-Chosen
-Untamed
-Hunted
-Tempted
-Burned
and Coming soon (Jan. 4 2011):
-Awakened

Supernatural series:
The Immortals Series: Ever is a spychic after her fatal crash and then she meets Damien, who changes her life forever.
The Immortal Series includes (in reading order):
-Evermore
-Blue Moon
-Shadowland
-Dark Flame
-Night Star

If you're into Horror, anything by Stephen King, and I recommend the book Different Seasons which includes four different short stories.

If you're into Humor, I loved this series:
The Confessions of Georgia Nicolson
This series is the diary of a fifteen year old, brittish girl, Georgia Nicolson. She has crazy adventures and displays shocking amounts of red-botomosity. With her atrocious, hilarious vocabulary and the Ace Gang, she has a great life - she just can't choose which boy she'd rather have.
The Confessions of Georgia Nicolson includes:
-Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging
-On the Bright Side, I'm Now the Girlfriend of a Sex God
-Knocked Out by my Nunga-Nungas
-Dancing in my Nuddy-Pants
-Away Laughing on a Fast Camel
-Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers
-Startled By His Furry Shorts
-Love is a Many Trousered Thing
-Stop in the name of Pants!
-Are these my basoomas I see before me?

and another humor: I Am A Genius of Unspeakable Evil, and I Want To Be Your Class President
I've only read about a hundred pages of this book, but it's hilarious!

AND Swoon.

Hope I helped :)
