He is an average reader, still prefers to be read to. I would like him to read more on his own though. We have a couple Magic Treehouse...What are some other good ones? He can't wait till he can read the bigger ones with dragons and magic... are there any like that that are smaller chapter books? Thanks:)

Well, I like these books. I'm in 11th grade, and these were fun to read.
The Artemis Fowl Series (By Eoin Colfer) These are about a young criminal mastermind who deals with fairies. Interesting and exciting.
Airman (Also By Eoin Colfer) This is about a young boy who exacts revenge on a person who blamed him for the murder of the King.
The Green and The Gray (by Timothy Zahn) This is about.... If I say it will ruin it. There is a lot of mystery, though. It isn't as fast paced as the others I've listed.
The Dragonback Series (also by Timothy Zahn) This is about a boy who finds a cool dragon alien and they fight bad guys.... Yeah.
Enjoy whatever you decide to read!
