My vote goes to "I'm going to ask you this plain and simple: Where'd ya pinch the hooch? Is some blind tiger jerkin' suds on the side?"
/"uhh, yes?"
((beer baron episode))

Answer
"Books are useless! I only ever read one book, âTo Kill A Mockingbirdâ, and it gave me absolutely no insight on how to kill mockingbirds! Sure it taught me not to judge a man by the color of his skinâ¦but what good does that do me?â - Homer

Have you ever made a quote book?

A

I'm obsessed with beautiful quotes, and poems and lyrics. have you ever made a quote book before?
Marylin you suck.

Answer
Absolutely! In high school I had a special spiral binder in which I glue or taped in quote I'd cut out of magazines or the newspaper. I also had an area where I wrote down cool quotes -- you know, things that touched me -- that I heard from others.

I think it's a great idea to scrapbook these things that touch you. You will probably find as yu look back on them over the years that you went through changes -- different quotes and pictures will affect you more at different times of your life.

I no longer have my quote book, but I now carry a small notebook (hardbound) in which I doodle, draw, and write down what I think are cool quotes. I have a bunch of them taped to my computer monitor as well. :-) My favorite one right now is...

"When they discover the center of the universe, a lot of people will be disappointed to find they are not it." Bernard Bailey. That one really cracked me up -- I work at a university where a lot of students come to us when they've screwed up.

Every now and then there's a real stinker in the group who (despite the fact they really goofed up on their own because they didn't follow the rules) expects you to fix their problem NOW! They believe they are the only valid exception to the rule!! LOL We always work on things as fast as we can, but sometimes it takes several departments working together to help with an issue. It takes time.

Anyway, that is why that quote cracked me up. It reminded me of some of my "problem children." LOL

I say keep up the love of beautiful things where ever they are found.

Cindy
