Do you like when they start in themiddle of a conversation, or would you rather it not?
Because I'm writing a book currently and it starts out with the main character having a conversation with her little sister and then it gives some information. Also, is it okay to switch scences almost right away, or else I'm going to have to change the start of my book, thanks(:

i think that sounds good! the only thing i would suggest is to explain what they look like near the beginning. i hate when i read a book and picture people but they are nothing like the author's description! :p
