What are some good books to read this summer?

I'm almost 15 and I'm interesting in moving stories. I'm not a big fan of all those modern love stories and all that Twilight and other books similar to that. I'm not a big fan of "teenage books".

I enjoy reading books-
Charles Dickens
Paulo Coelho
William Faulkner
George Orwell
William Golding
Harper Lee

Are there any authors similar to those? Feel free to list books and all.

I read John Steinbeck, Ayn Rand and Taylor Caldwell when I was your age along with your choices. Also classic Roman and Greek mythology Here is a suggested reading list for high school age.

The book of paulo coelho! I don't get the four obstacles..and I just can't move on without knowing what it really means....

I understood them as what the guy should expect, because he has to go through those obstacles just as everyone else. The version I read, didn't have that in the introduction, but I read part of it again, and that's how I understood the obstacles.
