I like suspensful books, and I hated the beaconstreet girls, and most books by meg cabot. I loved the maximum ride series. I am not allowed to read books about vampires and my parents would prefer that I didn't read books about ghosts, but they let me. Any suggestions?

If you like suspenseful stories, try Edgar Allen Poe. "The Telltale Heart," "The Black Cat," and "The Masque of the Red Death" are among his most famous. :)
I know James Patterson also writes mystery novels as well as the Max Ride books. I haven't read any of them, but I hear they're good.

How do I repair music books? Middle pages are falling out where the book is stapled?

I have several relatively thin music books (about 8 1/2 x 11 inches in size but only about 30 pages in each). The middle pages are falling out where the book was originally stapled (they are not bound books). I have tried re-stapling the pages into the center of the book without any luck. Any suggestions?

I solve that problem with my piano books by putting them in 3-ring binders with bole reinforcements in the pages that I use most frequently. Several of my thicker music books, I've had to take to a printer and had them put on a spiral binding to make them last a bit longer. For individual sheet music, I usually copy it and use acid free glue or tape to attach the individual pages to a manila folder to make them a bit more durable. I also use sheet protectors in a 3-ring binder. I try not to use the original sheet music, but keep them in protective plastic.
My music teacher taught me these few tricks when I was first in piano lessons and much of the music I started with 40 years ago is still in good shape.
