What is this book --- about a boy who changes into a werewolf?

I read this book back in 4th grade, I think. It was about a boy who changed into a werewolf. I know it had black and white illustations in it. One part I can remember clearly is that the boy changed into a werewolf, then when he changed back to normal, he woke up the next morning laying naked behind a dumpster. He then used a McDonald's french fry bag to cover himself up as he ran home. What is this book?

I'm going to be babysitting a 2nd and 4th grade boys a lot this summer, I babysat them last summer, but things got a little out of control, I'm thinking that a little structure will help, but not really sure what to do with them yet. Any suggestions? Sadly we can't go anywhere other than walking distance. I was also thinking of reading a book or two a day, and then doing a project, but What books could I use? If you have any suggestions it would be AWESOME! thanks!
