I have undertaken planning my friend's bachelor party in Vegas and was wondering what hotel would be the best fit for us. We are willing to spend money on the place we stay, but want to survive as cheaply as possible after that. We will probably just drink alot of alcohol that we are bringing with an sit in poker rooms and sports books gambling and drinking comped alcohol. We would also like to go to a club one night, so any recommendations there would also be appreciated. Our front-runner choice is Caesar's due to it's location, luxury, and enormous pool to lounge by and drink. I've heard good things about the Palms for people our age (24) as well. Thanks guys.

Any hotel on the strip will do. If you are looking for value, check out the Tuscany Suites. The rooms are huge (in case you want to save money and room together), they have great poker tables, and a fantastic Italian restaurant. They are about 2 blocks off the strip though.
Caeser's palace is a place of luxury so you may spend more than you would like. So is the Bellagio.
Almost all of the hotels on the strip are within walking distance of one another. Plus some hotels have trams that run between them. Stick to the south end of the strip, too. The hilton is too faraway to be much fun (although the Star Trek bar is kinda cool). Same with the Stratosphere.
Personally, I like Aladdin, MGM, Excalibur, New York New York, Paris and Venetian. Most of the hotels also have their own clubs.
And the Hard Rock hotel has celebrity parties all the time at their clubs (There was a birthday party for a celeb the night of my wedding in Vegas).
Although if it is a bachelor party, you might want to try the new Hooters Hotel and Casino. And if youre looking for a strip club, Spearmint Rhino (or something like that) is kind of expensive. Try the Olympic Gardens.

What sportsbook in vegas offers free/cheap cocktail service?

We are going to Las Vegas in about a month to do some sports betting. I have not been there in about a year. Was wondering what sports books offer free drinks to betters or which ones offer the best ratio of drink tickets to amount of money being bet. I have heard las vegas hilton is our best bet but just wanted some more opinions. Thanks!

They all give free drinks if you are betting. Hilton is great.
If you have access to a car. Take a ride south on LV Blvd. to the new M Resort.
IT really is a nice place and has one of the most interesting books in Las VEgas. It is just over a year old, but this place is faboulos. They also have in game betting, so you get a little pda and can make and change bets duinrg the action. Very interesting concept.
Enjoy the visit.
