best books 7th grade boys image

Our son is 7.5 and he loves legos, sports, cars, trains, wii, books, and most other things that 2nd grade boys like. Do you have any suggestions of toys, games, or books? We've already got a few lego sets, Cars (from the movie Cars), and Star Wars figures put away for Christmas, but were hoping to find a unique gift idea... Any suggestions would be appreciated. Nothing too big or expensive. Thanks.

I found out about this idea and it was great! I got my son a cool gift - have you ever heard of iPixxl? They make these super cool life size vinyl stickers that can go on your car or walls in your home. They peel right off to be moved! They are great. I just took some of my son's favorite animal photos and used them to create a jungle feel in his room. What is 7th grade like, and what to wear and what not to?

I want to know what is 7th grade like. Is it hard? Is there anything i should know about the people? (boys)
Should i start to wear makeup? What should i wear? What shouldn't i wear?
=) Please answer these questions, and if there is any other information i should know, please tell me.

Hey, I'm also going to seventh grade too! But seventh grade is the first the first grade you'll enter where I live.
So clothes, where I live, a majority of people in sixth grade wore abercrombie, a bit of hollister, and the " popular people" ( they are actually pretty nice)sometimes wore designerish clothes from nordstroms. Like true religion jeans or sevens($100-200 for youth). I expect it to be like that in middle school cuz I know people who are in middle school and high school. Not to mention shoes, converse are especially common($30-$50). I see people also wearing uggs(around $100), I hear they are very comfortable. Personally, I own some abercrombie, but they always have a logo so it is like a walking ad and it's vintage( amelia earhart shopped there). Also don't wear random shirts that are sponsoring things like the jonas brothers concert shirt and tour location.
Make-up: lip gloss, don't wear lipstick it will smear. I think natural looking make-up is better(go to a department store for help?) rather then make-up than is hideous.
School work: I hear where I live you can get up to 3 hours of homework in seventh grade. Look up the standards for your state so you know what to expect.
School n lockers n organization: there's no lockers at my school, we get a set of books at home. I suggest you get it neat and stuff labeled?bring a map of the school(if u can find one) if you are new to your school or if you want absolutely want to get your classes right. If you get your schedules and classroom numbers before school starts( that's a no for me), highlight your classes on the map so you have some sense. Get a binder for every class or a binder for every two classes. I heard from A LOT of people that seventh grade was their favorite year. I think you should believe u can do anything(ignore that mark about flying)
I think a lot of girls have totes or bags to carry everything.
Boys: it's proven boys mature more slowly then girls. If you like a boy, try and be nice. If u are sure u can trust your friends, flirt a little and if they find out you like him, hey they can keep a secret right?
People: Seriously, don't believe those movies with mean popular people. Look at reality.
