Hi I want to start a book club for african american teens?

I want to start a book Club for teen girls, we will meet at least 1-2 times a week and read 5 books for the end of the report period. Our first book will be step to this by nikki carter, if you have any tips on how to run it, or on some great books for us, that Will help so much, thanks

First, I would hold it at a public library in your town. Have each member read a chapter a week, and then discuss what they liked, what they didn't, and how they would change it for about 10 minutes. I'd say limit your meetings to about 20 minutes, because talking about a book shouldn't take too long. And always bring some refreshments while talking about it.
